Over the summer, we were able to hold our training at the training ground “Am Römerhof”, which was the first time for our club to have a proper training facility. Two weeks ago, our Redbacks played their first friendly 9-aside game there confirming the quality of the ground.
With winter approaching quickly and days getting shorter, our evening training at “Am Römerhof” will come to an end for this year as there is no floodlights. While in previous years we spent the entire winter indoors, this year we will continue to train outside on an astro field, which also offers change rooms, toilets and showers. The field is located in Frankfurt-Niederrad right next to the S-Bahn station, which is one stop away from Hauptbahnhof. Training will be every Tuesday from 7.30pm – 9.30pm. Next to that, we are currently in discussions with the city council to also obtain a gym for Thurday night indoor trainings. Further infos will follow shortly.
