Am 23. Mai kam es im Rahmen eines Rhein-Main-League Spiels zu einem Aufeinandertreffen der Frankfurt Redbacks und der South Frankfurt Swans. Die Redbacks starteten furios mit vier unbeantworteten Toren. Erst langsam gelang es den Swans sich in den folgenden Minuten sich ins Spiel zurück zu kämpfen. Nach zwei Viertels gingen die Redbacks jedoch noch immer mit einem Vorsprung von sieben Punkten. Trotz der Hitze gelang es des Swans in der zweiten Hälfte die Redbacks weiter unter Druck zu setzen und die Führung zu übernehmen. Am Ende gewannen die South Frankfurt Swans das Spiel deutlich mit 30 Punkten Vorsprung.
